To demonstrate reconciliation, solidarity, peace and freedom through the shared experience of choral music while honouring God with trust, joy and gratitude.
Our choir is indeed representative of all the peoples of our country, bound together by a love of music and the gift to sing. We are also committed to the upliftment of historically disadvantaged communities and therefore a large percentage of the income generated by our concerts is donated to social projects and the indigent. Read more here about the tangible assistance given by the choir to organisations in historically disadvantaged communities such as the Masikhule Children's Home in Khayelitsha.
In order to promote mutual understanding, respect and trust among all South Africans the choir continuously promotes indigenous musical traditions and develops new talent for the benefit of the community. We do this by performing for local audiences and undertaking annual trips to rural areas to take the music back to the people from where it has emanated.
